Touch interaction like never before
Trill is a family of capacitive touch sensors, designed to place the power of powerful touch sensing into the hands of artists, designers, musicians, and creative makers of all kinds.

What Trill offers #
Natural touch sensing #
Trill was inspired by the way we use our hands to interact with the world. Harnessing the power of capacitive touch sensing technology, Trill sensors come in a range of shapes, sizes and types to create a convenient way of integrating beautiful touch sensing into any interactive project.
Build beautiful, custom touch interfaces #
Trill sensors can be used individually, or chained together to make larger touch surfaces. You can use up to 8 of a single Trill type, or a network of different Trill sensors for a totally custom, perfectly crafted interface.
Trill sensors are also highly customisable. Trim them to size to fit exactly where they need to. Cover them and fully embedded in a project, and calibrate in software for exactly the right responsiveness and sensitivity you need.
Designed for Bela, widely compatible #
Though Trill touch sensors are designed for Bela and Bela Mini systems, they are compatible with any maker board that supports I2C communication, from Arduino to Teensy to Raspberry Pi. Download the Trill library and example projects for Bela and other platforms on the Trill Github repo.
Types of Trill sensors #
The Trill family of touch sensors each have a different combination of physical form factor and sensing capability, making it more convenient than ever to embed touch in digital projects.
Trill Flex
Sensor made from flex PCB, so it can bend around any curve
One axis continuous slider
Can detect up to 5 simultaneous touches with touch size
Sensor is detachable, and can be replaced with a custom one of your own
Dimensions: 36.3mm X 22.4mm (base), 145.5mm X 21.6mm (detachable sensor), 176mm X 22mm (when combined)
